Allama Ahmad Saeed Khan Multani (1940–2011) was a prominent Pakistani Islamic scholar, prolific author, and charismatic orator celebrated for his lifelong dedication to the propagation of monotheism (*Tawheed*) and the purging of un-Islamic innovations. Born in Chatrod Garh near Multan, he was raised in a deeply religious family. He pursued his advanced Islamic education under leading figures of the era, studying Quranic exegesis (*Tafsir*) under Sheikh-ul-Quran Maulana Ghulam Allah Khan in Rawalpindi and Hadith sciences under Maulana Qazi Shamsuddin in Gujranwala.
Affiliated with the rationalist and puritanical frameworks of the *Ishaat-e-Tawheed wa Sunnah* movement, Allama Multani was widely recognized for his fearless, evidence-based preaching style that drew strictly from Quranic texts. In 1998, he established the *Markazi Jamiat Ishaat-e-Tawheed wa Sunnah Pakistan* to institutionalize his reformist mission. A highly industrious scholar, he authored over thirty books and treatises. He is best known for his comprehensive multi-volume exegesis *Tafsir Huda lil-Muttaqin* and his highly debated revisionist book *Quran-e-Muqaddas aur Bukhari Muhaddith*, which analyzed specific narrative traditions through a strict Quranic lens and led to a temporary academic imprisonment. He also founded the *Jamia Muhammadia Ihya-us-Sunnah* seminary in Kabirwala. He passed away on May 2, 2011, leaving behind a powerful legacy of public oratory, scholarly works, and a dedicated base of followers across South Asia.
علامہ احمد سعید خان ملتانی (1940–2011) ایک ممتاز پاکستانی اسلامی اسکالر، کثیر التصانیف مصنف اور بے باک خطیب تھے، جو توحیدِ الٰہی کی ترویج اور معاشرتی بدعات کے خاتمے کے لیے اپنی عمر بھر کی خدمات کی وجہ سے جانے جاتے ہیں۔ وہ ملتان کے نواحی گاؤں چتروڑ گڑھ میں ایک مذہبی گھرانے میں پیدا ہوئے۔ انہوں نے اپنے دور کے جید علمائے کرام سے علم حاصل کیا، جس میں راولپنڈی میں شیخ القرآن مولانا غلام اللہ خان سے دورۂ تفسیر اور گوجرانوالہ میں شمس المحدثین مولانا قاضی شمس الدین سے دورۂ حدیث کی تکمیل شامل ہے۔
تنظیم "اشاعت التوحید والسنہ" کے فکر سے وابستہ ہونے کے ناطے، علامہ ملتانی اپنے بے خوف اور قرآن پر مبنی مدلل اسلوبِ بیان کے لیے مقتدر مانے جاتے تھے۔ انہوں نے 1998ء میں اپنے اصلاحی مشن کو منظم کرنے کے لیے "مرکزی جمعیت اشاعت التوحید والسنہ پاکستان" کی بنیاد رکھی۔ وہ ایک انتہائی سرگرم محقق تھے جنہوں نے تیس سے زائد کتب اور رسائل تصنیف کیے۔ انہیں ان کی جامع تفسیر "ہدیٰ للمتقین" اور معرکہ آرا تصنیف "قرآنِ مقدس اور بخاری محدث" کے لیے سب سے زیادہ یاد کیا جاتا ہے، جس کی وجہ سے انہیں وقتی طور پر قید و بند کی صعوبتیں بھی جھیلنا پڑیں۔ انہوں نے کبیر والا میں "جامعہ محمدیہ احیاء السنہ" کے نام سے ایک مرکزی دینی درسگاہ بھی قائم کی۔ وہ 2 مئی 2011ء کو وفات پا گئے۔
