Hadith scholars have expressed doubts about authenticity of this collection and if it actually is from Ibn Abbas R.A. based on critical studies in 'Usool Al-Hadith' which has found many narrations in this to be weak (Reference: Dr. Bilal Philips lecture recordings on Usool Al Hadith at IOU).<br>There are a couple of important points that are required to be kept in mind.<br>1. English translation provided above is from Aal-Al Bayt Foundation which is not a shia organization and is run by Government of Jordan.<br>2. As explained above, authenticity of this tafsir's attribution to Ibn Abbas R.A. is not authenticated. Advice should be sought from authentic Islamic scholar with regards to this matter.<br>
