Uncle Tom's Cabin; or, Life Among the Lowly, is an anti-slavery novel by American author Harriet Beecher Stowe. Published in 1852, the novel had a profound effect on attitudes toward African Americans and slavery in the U.S.i love it it has a reason if people dont know its about a slave that worked for a master he was very nice unlike the owner uncle tom was the most kindest slave he helped people but when he would not tell his master where the slaves that escaped where the owner got mad and killed uncle tom. this is a book that will always be remembered now this book was for people to see that no won no won should be treated like a pet or a slave or someone there not.
